Green Explosion-

A flower like explosion of color. Beginning with its swirling core in the center. The petals themselves contain varying patterns and textures. The swirls contain multiple layers of color as well as copper leafing. There is a stunning pop of color from the art deco patterns, with the lines blurring into each other. Then the grids also consist of multiple layers of linework. Finally, my signature sinewy petals in B&W, set off a stunning contrast against the bright colors. Set against a stark white background.


Canvas is prepped with gesso, then the pattern is sketched out. I then lay down the base line work. Next, I put down the base colors in the color blocking. Then lay down the leafing. Finally, I add the depth to the vortexes, by adding extra layers and shading. Then finish the sinewy designs with their shading and highlights. Finishing touchups and definition is then added. The painting is completed with a matte varnish.
Then signed, dated, and numbered on the back. Each painting is wired for hanging.

Shipped within 3 days via UPS Ground. Packed tight with protective shrink wrap, cardboard reinforcement, and bubble wrap. Shipping insurance also included.
